The last helpful tip will include doing some traveling. When the time comes to compare wireless plans, visit the offices of any independent dealers of wireless companies that service your area. These dealers will have information on regional plans that are available, even from national companies. There may be more minutes, different “Night and Weekend” times, or number of phones that can share the minutes.
Remember that while you can compare wireless plans at any time, changing your wireless plan will renew your contract with the carrier. Always ask if you can have a one year renewal and not be subjected to a two year deal when you compare wireless plans.
